Brakes are designed to slowly wear as you use them, which is why regular maintenance is so important. Visit your local Quick Lane® for high-quality service and products - including pads, rotors, drums, shoes and more – from one of our experts.

Estimated Time: 1 hour

How often should I replace my brake pads?

Depending on usage and brake pad type, most brake systems will need service every 30,000-70,000 miles. Your brakes are important for vehicle safety, so reference your owner's manual for recommended upkeep and have your brakes inspected anytime you hear a grinding or squeaking noise or feel vibration in your steering wheel. At a minimum, we recommend a brake inspection by one of our expert technicians once a year or every 15,000 miles.
