Bob Tasca III

Mustang Funny Car raring to go

Quick Lane joins Motorcraft in once again sponsoring veteran driver Bob Tasca III and the nitro-powered Ford Mustang Funny Car.

Bob Tasca III is the grandson of famed Rhode Island Ford Dealer Bob Tasca – who helped fuel Ford’s return to professional drag racing back in the 1960s. Fast forward and you’ll find the latest Tasca carrying on the family tradition, coming off an impressive 2019 season highlighted by back-to-back wins.

As a race competitor, Bob has six NHRA Funny Car wins to go with 24 NHRA final-round appearances since his 2008 debut. We look forward to seeing you at it again!

MATT DIBENEDETTO

No. 21 Ford Mustang gets new driver

To start the 2020 season, Quick Lane welcomes six-year NASCAR Cup Series veteran Matt DiBenedetto behind the wheel of the iconic No. 21 Ford Mustang. This marks his first year competing for the longest-running Cup Series team – Wood Brothers Racing.

The son of former IMSA driver Tony DiBenedetto, Matt has raced for several Cup Series teams over the last five seasons, earning 11 top-10 finishes and three top-fives in his Cup Series career. His top result was a second-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2019.

We can’t wait to watch DiBenedetto go for his first Cup Series victory as Wood Brothers Racing pursues its 100th Cup Series win!
